About The Position

Boston Mountain Rural Health Center, Inc. is now accepting applications for a full-time Clinical Assistant (Lab Tech) at our Shirley Clinic. Notice: Safety-Sensitive Position This position has been designated as safety-sensitive under the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment. Employees in this role must be able to perform job duties in a manner that ensures the safety of patients, coworkers, and the public. · Employees in safety-sensitive positions are subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company policy and state law. · The use of marijuana (including medical marijuana), illegal substances, or misuse of prescription medications is prohibited for employees in safety-sensitive positions. · A positive drug test result, including marijuana, will result in ineligibility for hire or removal from a safety-sensitive position . The Clinical Assistant (Lab Tech) is a member of the clinical healthcare team and works to provide timely and accurate on site laboratory and clinical healthcare services. The Clinical Assistant is responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, supplies, records, and procedures in accordance with OSHA, CLIA, and other applicable standards. Our office hours are 7:45am to 5:15pm Monday through Thursday and 7:45am to 11:45am on Friday. Some travel is required for this position. Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • CNA, or Medical Assistant certificate
  • Safety-Sensitive Position
