Berry College invites applications for its inaugural PA Program principal faculty position. This is an exciting opportunity for collaborative and energetic academic-oriented candidates. The principal faculty will be primarily focused on academic activities while ensuring ARC-PA compliance and other duties as assigned by the Program Director. The principal faculty will serve on program committees. Berry College has initiated the provisional accreditation process with the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) and has dedicated adequate resources for building a high-quality program with excellent faculty and facilities. Along with the requisite didactic and clinical instruction of any accredited PA program, Berry aspires to offer distinctive features that broaden the impact our graduates have on local communities once in practice. To support the PA program, the College is constructing a new health-sciences building with offices and shared classrooms, laboratory, and simulation space. The building will also house Berry's Nursing program and is being designed with future growth in mind. Our vision is to build a high-quality program firmly anchored in the Berry ethos "not to be ministered unto but to minister." The program at Berry will be geared toward educating PAs with a heart for their patients, including those from medically underserved areas. Along with the requisite didactic and clinical instruction, Berry aspires to offer distinctive features that broaden the impact our graduates have on local communities once in practice. The target date to matriculate the first class is Fall 2025.
