About The Position

The Clinical Applications Support Analyst for Patient Applications/MyChart at Sanford Health is responsible for supporting clinical information technologies that enhance clinical practice. This role involves gathering, analyzing, designing, developing, modifying, testing, implementing, evaluating, and maintaining applications to support clinical decision-making and improve workflow. The analyst will provide high-level customer service, utilize problem-solving skills, and communicate effectively with clinical staff to ensure optimal use of technology in patient care.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in a clinical field or three years of clinical experience in their specialty preferred.
  • Previous experience in Information Technology is preferred.
  • Experience or knowledge in MyChart preferred.
  • Familiarity with mobile devices and website updates preferred.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is beneficial.
  • Must be licensed/registered/certified in a clinical field within Sanford's footprint, depending on location.
  • IT certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
  • EPIC application certification must be obtained within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, design, develop, modify, test, implement, evaluate, and maintain clinical information technologies.
  • Support clinical decision-making using data to identify desired outcomes.
  • Research, analyze, and recommend application workflow improvements.
  • Create and analyze reports using multiple reporting mechanisms.
  • Provide Tier Two customer service while promoting teamwork.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Conduct training presentations and maintain proficiency in assigned applications.
  • Adapt to changes in assignments, processes, and people.
