About The Position

Provides administrative support for clinical and scheduling applications. Implements system updates, enhancements, and configuration changes as directed to align with departmental operational and clinical objectives. Performs administrative functions, collects and manages data sets, and maintains databases to ensure accuracy and availability for reporting and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Bachelor's Degree required; a focus in healthcare operations, health administration, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Experience with electronic health record systems
  • Knowledge of clinical scheduling software platforms.
  • Demonstrates superior critical thinking and analytical reasoning skills, with the ability to assess complex information, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of the connection between individual, departmental, and organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Updates clinical staffing assignments and communicates changes to relevant parties as needed.
  • Assists with maintenance of department scheduling system operations, including data entry, report generation, and connecting OR Manager schedules.
  • Provides administrative scheduling systems analysis and support, ensuring smooth operation of software applications.
  • Provides technical support and assistance to end users as needed.
  • Manipulates and compiles data, including both scheduling and financial, for reporting and analysis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Performs other related duties as directed.
