About The Position

University Behavioral Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), is committed to providing intensive mental health services to children, adolescents and adults as well as detox and substance abuse programs for adults. Our mental health facility provides safe and effective inpatient treatment to assist individuals in leading more productive and fulfilling lives. The facility is located on a beautiful 14-acre campus in Orlando, Florida, and includes 112 licensed beds. POSITION SUMMARY The Clinical Application Analyst acts as a clinical liaison between the Corporate IS Department and the BH facility. Performs duties associated with the implementation, support, and maintenance for all aspects of the clinical information system. Duties also include preforming basic computer and computer peripherals troubleshooting skills. This position provides problem tracking, resolution, enhancement requests, active participation in system testing, workflow redesign, change management, and ongoing Cerner education to facility employees and physicians.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Direct patient care experience preferred.
  • Extensive working knowledge of clinical information systems (Cerner preferred) showing progressively increasing responsibilities.
  • Minimum of three years of information services or super-user experience.
  • Ability to work with end users to determine software specifications, hardware requirements and process improvement workflows.
  • Comfortable and confident interacting with physicians and clinicians at all levels.
  • Exhibits or has performed in a leadership role.
  • Clinical knowledge Required.
