Requirements

  • 3 years as a Registered Nurse
  • 2 years in Clinical Informatics (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Understand clinical requirements in an operational healthcare setting and translate those requirements into formal specifications for products and services.
  • Leverage capabilities of a clinical information system to re-engineer clinical workflow supporting the use of clinical technologies.
  • Support physicians, physician extenders, nurses and ancillary staff in the utilization of multiple clinical information systems that impact their workflow.
  • Use a strong understanding of physician and/or clinical workflow processes and identify the impact of a system's functionality on those processes.
  • Work closely with other members of BayCare Information Services, Nursing Leadership, Medical Staff Services, and Clinical Education.
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
