OHSU Clinical APP Associate
About The Position
Oregon Health & Science University and Tuality Healthcare's affiliation combines Tuality’s deep community roots with OHSU’s role as a provider of complex and advanced specialty care. The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service. The primary function of this position is to provide inpatient direct clinical care in the inpatient setting to geriatric patients on an as needed basis. This position is located at a newly redesigned Geriatric Psychiatry Clinic at Tuality Hospital in Hillsboro, an OHSU partner. Included in those duties are to supervise fellows and residents in the clinical care of geriatric psychiatry patients.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the State of Oregon
Nice To Haves
- Strong preference for those having completed Fellowship training in Geriatric Psychiatry
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient direct clinical care in the inpatient setting to geriatric patients on an as needed basis.
- Supervise fellows and residents in the clinical care of geriatric psychiatry patients.
