The Kirkhof College of Nursing at Grand Valley State University invites applications for an affiliate faculty position. Applicants must have a Master’s degree (or higher) in Nursing and an unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan (or be eligible for licensure in Michigan as a Registered Nurse). Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan (or be eligible for licensure in Michigan as a Registered Nurse), and have a Master's degree (or higher) in Nursing. If MSN earned through a second degree to MSN degree program, BSN requirement is waived. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Commitment to working with diverse student and community populations. Applicants must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Affiliate positions involve oversight of clinical experiences within one's specialty, and/or selected classroom teaching under the direction of Senior Faculty. This is a 12-month appointment at 0.75 FTE. Other responsibilities include membership on KCON shared governance committee(s) as well as other forms of community service. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have the physical stamina to work long hours and/or more than 5 days per week.
