About The Position

The Kirkhof College of Nursing at Grand Valley State University invites applications for an affiliate faculty position. This is a 12-month appointment at 0.75 FTE. Affiliate positions involve oversight of clinical experiences within one's specialty, and/or selected classroom teaching under the direction of Senior Faculty.

Requirements

• Master's degree (or higher) in Nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan (or eligible for licensure).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Commitment to working with diverse student and community populations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in an academic setting as a member of a team.
• Experience with a diverse population.
• Previous teaching and/or preceptor experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of clinical experiences within one's specialty.
• Selected classroom teaching under the direction of Senior Faculty.
• Membership on KCON shared governance committee(s).
• Other forms of community service.

Benefits

• Minimum Starting Salary: $56,250; Commensurate with experience.
