About The Position

The Clinical Administrator coordinates and oversees the clinical training for center staff and community partners. This position assists with a variety of administrative and program tasks related to clinical supervision and compliance. This position serves as the primary point of operational and administrative contract for internal and external entities reinforcing relationships with community stakeholders, partners, and funders for training and clinical needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Two (2) years of clinical experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified; OR Master’s Degree in lieu of experience; OR a combination of education and experience to equal six (6) years.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills written and verbal.
  • Ability to incorporate marketing and research techniques into patient and family engagement in healthcare.
  • Good analytical and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge and experience working with healthcare providers and community stakeholders in Memphis.
  • Knowledge and experience implementing quality or process improvement efforts.
  • Skill and expertise in successful grant project management.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in relevant educational or social/human service field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the members of leadership to align strategic direction of the programs.
  • Develops and implements training with center staff and community partners.
  • Gathers, enters, and updates data to maintain departmental records and files.
  • Composes and prepares written documentation and correspondence for internal and external partners.
  • Manages public outreach, social marketing, and community education campaigns.
  • Market the program to community stakeholders to sustain continued funding.
  • Identifies potential network members in the community and assesses their ability to address childhood exposure to trauma.
  • Assists in the coordination, supervision, and completion of special projects related to the contracts and grants.
  • Manages and oversees all functions related to personnel including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, training, counseling, discipline, and evaluations.
  • Serves as the liaison between UT Health Science Center, community partners, and grant/contract funders; serves as primary point of administrative contact.
  • Monitors and coordinates accounting activities, prepares internal reports for management, and assists the business team in budget planning, preparation, and management.
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and university policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
