Under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Pre-Licensure Clinical Programs the Adjunct Clinical Faculty will support all aspects of the clinical settings. This role will have a primary responsibility of supporting the Associate of Science in Nursing program, although support for any of the university programs may be provided with approval from the Clinical Director. Weekend and evening hours may be required. Regis is looking for Adjunct Clinical Nursing Instructors for the Associate of Science in Nursing Program. There are four classes within this program that have comprehensive clinical requirements: NU 101: Foundations of Nursing Practice: The focus of the first nursing course is health promotion, restoration, and maintenance. NU 102: Adult Nursing Practice: The second nursing course emphasizes the knowledge and skills essential for the nursing management of adult medical and surgical individuals as they adapt to changes in the health/illness spectrum. NU 201: Family-Focused Nursing Practice: The third nursing course focuses on the knowledge, skills, attitudes/values, and abilities required to provide safe, quality, and patient-centered care to women, children, and their families in order for them to flourish. NU 202: Comprehensive Nursing Practice: The last nursing course focuses on the knowledge, skills, attitudes/values, and abilities required to provide safe, quality, patient-centered care to adult individuals with complex stressors, assisting those individuals and families to flourish and adapt.
