About The Position

We are hiring a Clinic Unit Educator to join our Home Health team! Full Time; 8:30am - 5:00pm At Spartanburg Regional Home Health, we are proud of our skilled, caring, trustworthy and compassionate Home Health experts. Our clinicians visit patients homes to deliver customized, physician-prescribed care after a hospital stay, illness or injury to rehabilitate and achieve optimal level of independence. Home Health is an alternative to repeated hospitalizations, or an extended hospital stay.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• One (1) year of homecare experience.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational activities for the clinical and non-clinical staff of the Agency.
• Planning and providing orientation and training for new associates.
• Conducting ongoing competency assessments for all associates.
• Assisting the management team in maintaining regulatory readiness.
• Ensuring compliance with CLIA regulations as they relate to the Nova Meter and CoaguChek monitoring systems.
• Providing Agency orientation for nursing students and assisting with their home care clinical experience and objectives.
• Overseeing compliance with infection prevention practices.
• Participating in policy and procedure development and review.
• Serving on appointed hospital committees.
• Maintaining and updating associate education files and patient and family educational materials.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
