Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience in a medical office, therapy clinic, or customer service role preferred
  • Proficiency in Google Suite required; EMR experience a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Team-oriented, dependable, and professional attitude
  • While performing the duties of this job, the staff member is frequently required to walk, stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
  • The staff member can regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
  • The incumbent must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize multiple, completing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly; manage check-in, scheduling, and phone calls
  • Collect co-pays and accurately enter data into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
  • Support clinicians during treatments — setting up equipment, assisting with exercises, and maintaining a clean, organized space
  • Ensure smooth clinic flow by monitoring schedules and communicating effectively with staff and patients
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA and clinic safety standards
