About The Position

The Clinic Supervisor provides administrative oversight and supervision to the Support Services team in our satellite and outlying clinics throughout Comprehensive Healthcare’s service area. In collaboration with the other Clinic Supervisor and the Administrative Services Director, The Clinic Supervisor assists with establishing consistent practices and coordinating & overseeing outpatient clinic operations with the goal of maximizing both client satisfaction and clinical effectiveness. This includes front desk operations like scheduling, client check-in, and prior authorization requests. In addition, the Clinic Supervisor will coach and train front desk staff to ensure exceptional customer service, improve clients’ access to treatment, and maximize the organization’s ability to receive reimbursement for services being provided. This position requires exceptional management and interpersonal skills, a talent for motivating others, and detailed knowledge of funding sources and relevant service regulations. The Clinic Supervisor is responsible for support staff at all satellite campuses and facilities and will need to travel between locations as needed. Our clinics are open 6:30am - 5:30pm and the Clinic Supervisor will work 8 hour shifts between that time period.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in healthcare management or related field
  • Five years of experience in a related position within the healthcare field
  • Strong understanding of funding source requirements related to commercial insurances, Medicare, Medicaid, Title XIX, and other payors
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle liability insurance, and satisfactory driving record

Responsibilities

  • Effectively and legally interviews applicants and makes appropriate staff selections.
  • Follows policies and procedures for corrective action relating to staff performance.
  • Provides sound supervision to all direct reports which include appropriate and frequent performance feedback.
  • Supports employees in skill development and goal attainment.
  • Completes performance evaluations in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Appropriately utilizes the Human Resources Department as needed and required.
  • Provides direction, supervision, coaching, training and regular performance feedback to build employee skills and support progress toward goals.
  • Effectively and legally interviews applicants and makes appropriate staff selections.
  • Creates training and development plans to support new employees to be successful.
  • Completes performance evaluations in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Assists with the development of the team budget and monitors budget throughout the year.
  • Monitors program plan adherence to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Collaborates with the Human Resources Department on hiring, retention and progressive discipline issues.
  • Communicates relevant matters to direct reports timely and effectively.
