About The Position

Under general supervision follows standard operating procedures for all patient registration activities including patient reception, face-to-face check in and check out, preregistration, insurance verification, cash collections, chart reconciliation and patient discharge. Actively contributes to an organizational culture committed to the highest degree of service excellence standards to all customer groups. The Pre/post unit consists of 2 floors and 4 patient types: Endoscopy, surgical, cath lab, and interventional radiology. The first floor sees about 70-80 patients a day, second floor (surgery) about 25, cath/IR about 25. NA's can be assigned to pre-op, post-op or to float in-between.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform calculations and complete forms.
• Familiarity with clinic environment preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with detailed information.
• Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with patients and staff.
• Ability to discuss financial responsibilities with patients.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Basic computer skills.
