The Clinic RN provides high-quality patient care in both clinical and cosmetic settings. This role involves assisting with aesthetic procedures, supporting plastic surgeons and clinical staff, performing patient assessments, providing patient education, managing pre- and post-operative care, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for all patients.

Requirements

  • Current, active Georgia RN license
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and patient-focused interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Team-oriented with flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced clinic environment
  • Commitment to continuous education and learning new aesthetic modalities

Nice To Haves

  • BSN degree
  • Prior experience in aesthetic nursing, plastic surgery, dermatology, or related clinical practice (2+ years preferred).
  • Experience with aesthetic procedures (injectables, lasers, skincare treatments).
  • Knowledge of EMR software and clinic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments, including reviewing medical history, taking vital signs, and screening for procedure eligibility.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical and non-surgical procedures (e.g., injectables, fillers, laser treatments).
  • Administer or assist with aesthetic treatments such as dermal fillers, Botox, laser therapy, chemical peels, micro-needling, etc., per protocol and RN scope of practice.
  • Prepare patients and clinical treatment areas prior to procedures; maintain sterile and safe work environments.
  • Monitor patients during and after treatments to identify and respond to complications or adverse reactions.
  • Assist physicians during consultations and in-office procedures as needed.
  • Support patient follow-up via phone or in person for recovery monitoring & education.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, treatment plans, consents, and charting in the electronic health record.
  • Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and state nursing practice regulations.
  • Educate patients about procedures, expected outcomes, risks, aftercare instructions, and appropriate skincare regimens.
  • Address patient questions and concerns professionally and compassionately.
  • Assist with clinic workflow by preparing treatment rooms, ordering and restocking supplies, and coordinating patient schedules.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and other clinic staff to ensure quality care.
