About The Position

Southeast Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team. The Clinic RN will play a vital role in providing comprehensive patient care within a clinical setting. This position requires a skilled and motivated individual who can effectively manage patient flow, administer treatments, educate patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
Proficient in patient assessment, triage, and care planning.
Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication administration.

Responsibilities

Patient Assessment and Triage: Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and symptom evaluation. Triage patients based on acuity and urgency.
Direct Patient Care: Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by physicians. Provide wound care, dressing changes, and other therapeutic interventions.
Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, medication management, and preventative health measures. Assess patient understanding and provide reinforcement as needed.
Health Maintenance and Screenings: Conduct health screenings, immunizations, and preventative care services.
Specimen Collection: Accurately collect and label specimens for laboratory analysis.
Procedure Assistance: Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with minor procedures.
Documentation: Accurately and thoroughly document all patient encounters, assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Coordination of Care: Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Facilitate referrals and follow-up appointments.
Patient Advocacy: Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain adequate stock of medical supplies and medications.
Adherence to Protocols: Follow established clinic protocols, policies, and procedures. Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control guidelines and universal precautions.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
