About The Position

Why M Physicians? The Urology Department at M Physicians provides a wide range of services for the diagnosis and treatment of conditions related to the kidneys, ureters and bladder, including cancers of the kidneys, ureters, bladder and prostate. Our team of professions treats benign conditions such as enlargement of the prostate, incontinence, kidney stones, impotence and much more. Urology is a surgical practice, so we do many procedures in the office (cystoscopy, vasectomy and treatments for benign prostate enlargement). While patients of all ages may need to see a urologist, we see only adult patients. What you will do as a Clinic RN: Establishes measurable and achievable short- and long-term goals for patients Implements nursing protocols based on the treatment plan, ensuring continuity of care for patient. Provides education to patient and caregiver(s) Evaluation of the patient’s status and efficiency of the nursing care and modified care plan as needed Helps provide healthcare access through nurse visits, management of in-basket task (phone messages, MyChart communication, refill requests, results) Provides safe and timely telephonic triage for symptomatic callers, using system approved triage policies and protocols

Requirements

Current Minnesota RN Licensure and knowledge of specialty area
Associate’s (ADN) or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)

Responsibilities
