About The Position

The Radiation Oncology nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of patients in the radiation oncology department. The ability to retrieve, communicate or otherwise present information in a written, auditory or visual fashion is essential. The radiation oncology nurse is responsible for patient education, physical assessment, nutrition counseling and assisting physicians with exams and procedures. Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • 1 year of Oncology experience.
