About The Position

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a casual, as needed Clinic
Registered Polysomnographer to work alongside our Putnam Sleep Lab.
At the highest technical level, program montages on sleep acquisition system, conduct, interpret, score and report the results of sleep studies. Monitor patients throughout the study and recognize and respond to patient needs and well being.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Junior College/Technical School is preferred
• Registered Polysomnongraphic is required
• CPR is required
• Minimum of 2 to 5 Years of Position-Related Experience
• Proficient in the use of Windows and possess computer skills
• Must be proficient in performing the following special procedures: Routine Polysomnography, Multiple Sleep Latency Studies, Oxygen Saturation Titration Studies.
• Must be proficient in operationg, interfacing, troubleshooting and maintaining the following equipment: Pulse oximeter,  Sleep lab equipment (respiratory Monitors), Microfilm equipment, sleep computer system, Clinical CPAP machine, Various audio-video monitoring equipment.
