About The Position

The Clinic Receptionist oversees and directs the office functions and duties to ensure an efficient and effective operation of the clinic. Schedules appointments, registration, maintains supplies, files reports and obtains insurance authorizations. Maintains the ability to provide exceptional customer service to the patient.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and other office software
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Two years previous provider office experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and surgical procedures nomenclature.
