Requirements

  • High School diploma.
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from a CAHEA-approved program required.
  • Must be AART/TMB certified, MT (ASCP), MLT (ASCP), PBT (ASCP) or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience as a Radiology Technician.
  • Experience in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities

  • Taking direction from the medical provider regarding which area of the patient’s body requires imaging.
  • Explaining the procedure and answering questions regarding the procedure.
  • Positioning and adjusting patients and equipment.
  • Following best practices such as patient shielding.
  • Obtaining diagnostic images of the patient.
  • Making any required documentation in the patient’s medical record.
  • Maintaining radiology supplies and/or inventory.
  • Keeping a safe and clean working environment.
