About The Position

At Children's Wisconsin, we are dedicated to providing compassionate and top-notch healthcare to children and families of our community. Our team of professionals work tirelessly to ensure that children receive the best care possible. This role will entail performing diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on minimizing discomfort and anxiety for pediatric patients and their families. In addition, you will operate and maintain state of the art radiology equipment.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures as well as operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment as acquired through completion of an approved curriculum of Radiologic Technology.
  • Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and must maintain current Wisconsin state license as a Registered Radiographer.
  • Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
  • Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s Degree in radiology or associated field of study.

  • An understanding of Children’s Wisconsin health care delivery system and the impact of other health care delivery systems on the patient and family.
