About The Position

The Clinical Project Manager supports Ambulatory Care operations by planning, coordinating, and implementing clinical and operational projects across ambulatory clinics. This role partners closely with clinical leadership, providers, and operational teams to improve workflows, support strategic initiatives, and ensure projects are completed on time and aligned with organizational goals. The Clinical Project Manager serves as a key liaison between clinical operations, administrative leadership, and other departments to facilitate effective communication, change management, and project execution. Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills to collaborate effectively with clinical leaders and interdisciplinary teams. The ability to analyze data and translate findings into operational improvements is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools. Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in healthcare operations, project management, or clinical program coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and coordinates clinical and operational projects across ambulatory care settings from planning through implementation and evaluation.
  • Develops project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful completion of initiatives.
  • Tracks project progress, identifies risks or barriers, and develops solutions to maintain project timelines.
  • Coordinates meetings, prepares agendas, and documents project updates for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Works with clinic leadership to evaluate clinical workflows and identify opportunities for improved efficiency, patient experience, and operational effectiveness.
  • Supports implementation of new processes, technologies, or system improvements within ambulatory clinics.
  • Assists with change management efforts including training, communication, and workflow adoption.
  • Serves as a liaison between ambulatory clinics, providers, operational leaders, and support departments such as IT, quality, finance, and human resources.
  • Facilitates communication among cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Engages clinical leaders and staff to gather feedback and ensure operational needs are addressed.
  • Collects and analyzes operational and clinical performance data to monitor project outcomes and identify trends.
  • Prepares reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership related to project performance and improvement initiatives.
  • Supports initiatives related to quality improvement, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational performance.
  • Develops and maintains project documentation including project plans, process maps, policies, and procedures.
  • Assists with development of standard workflows, training materials, and implementation guides for clinic teams.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
