Our Orthopedic and Sports Medicine team treats the full spectrum of sports related injuries and orthopedic conditions, from common injuries to the most complex. We offer a range of services such as sports conditioning, physical therapy, injury prevention, and surgical/non-surgical treatments. We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Practice Assistant to work onsite Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm in our Orthopedic/Sports Medicine office. This Practice Assistant will float between 288 Groveland Street in Haverhill and 231 Sutton Street in North Andover. Clinic/Practice Assistants at our Orthopedics and Sports Medicine practices in Haverhill and North Andover provide essential support before, during, and after patient visits. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, obtaining prior authorizations, managing check-in and check-out tasks such as greeting patients, assisting with paperwork, collecting co-pays, and scheduling follow-ups. This role also supports the practice’s call center, handling a high volume of inbound calls (50–80 per day) to assist patients and triage inquiries. Additional duties include monitoring patient flow, supporting clinicians and practice leadership, and performing other administrative tasks as needed. Job Summary Summary Performs both administrative and clinical functions to support smooth and efficient clinical service or practice operations under close to general supervision. Performs basic clerical work and tasks that are repetitive and routine. Administrative duties related to patient visits including scheduling, check-in, check-out duties.
