The Patient Access Representative main function is to register and schedule patients, obtain authorizations for treatment, manage the charts and patient information, prepare patient charts, manage the phone inquiries, perform order entry for lab and Diagnostic Image testing, and ordering unit supplies. The Patient Access Representative must be a patient advocate. Excellent communication skills are essential.
