About The Position
The position is for a full-time role at Martin County Hospital District (MCHD), which has been serving the community since 1967. The hospital is located in West Texas and operates as a Critical Access Hospital. The role involves performing timely and accurate registration duties for the Rural Health Clinic, processing and filing registration records, and acting as a liaison with patient family members or responsible parties. The position requires excellent customer service skills, including answering a multi-line telephone, handling customer requests and concerns, and ensuring all patient and guarantor information is correct and updated at each visit. Additional responsibilities include maintaining provider patient schedules, verifying insurance details, collecting payments, and managing a cash drawer and daily deposits.
