About The Position

This position Provides advanced-level care patients as described and regulated by the Missouri Bureau of Emergency Medical Services via the authority of the Missouri Comprehensive Emergency Medical Services Systems Act (Chapter 190, Missouri Revised Statutes 190.010 -190.245). and is employed by Mosaic Life Care

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Missouri licensed EMT-P.
• Missouri Licensed Class E Chauffeur.
• A.H.A. BLS medical provider certification.
• Vehicle extrication
• 2 Year of Full time EMT-Paramedic on Paramedic Ambulance Service and/or 1000 documented calls.

Responsibilities

• Performs all patient care skills at the level of Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P) Missouri Licensure.
• Assists APN with follow-up documentation and phone calls to parent\guardian\medical provider.
• Lifts, moves and carries a pediatric patient with or without assistance, if necessary.
• Provides complete documentation of patient care and other data necessary for completion of patient record.
• Communicates effectively via cellular phone and print.
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of supplies and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned
