About The Position

The Clinic Operations Manager is the operational engine behind a high-performing, patient-centered clinic. This role ensures that people, processes, and systems work in concert to deliver efficient, compliant, and consistently excellent care. As a hands-on leader, the Clinic Operations Manager partners closely with clinical and administrative teams to optimize workflows, strengthen accountability, and maximize effective use of EMR and other core systems. Serving as a critical bridge between frontline staff and leadership, this position provides real-time coaching, practical problem-solving, and clear guidance to enhance compliance, elevate the patient experience, and drive day-to-day operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in clinical operations, healthcare management, or a similar healthcare support role.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical workflows, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in AthenaOne or similar EMR systems, including workflow optimization, reporting, and user support.
  • Serve as the operational and technical lead for EMR and clinical systems, supporting staff, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing workflows.
  • Experience providing hands-on staff support, coaching, and operational guidance in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day clinic operations to ensure efficient, compliant, and patient-centered care, using data and metrics to optimize workflows and capacity.
  • Serve as a hands-on operational resource for clinical and administrative staff, providing coaching, guidance, and real-time problem-solving.
  • Oversee PRN staffing and support staff development, including scheduling, onboarding, training, performance management, and ensuring practice at the top of certification.
  • Act as the primary operational lead for EMR and clinical systems, supporting workflow design, training, reporting, access management, and issue resolution.
  • Drive quality assurance, compliance, and risk management efforts, including regulatory adherence, documentation standards, incident follow-up, and patient service recovery.
  • Partner with clinical and administrative leadership to standardize processes, improve patient and staff experience, and advance operational excellence.
  • Manage operational documentation, vendor coordination, reporting, and supervisory responsibilities in alignment with organizational policies and applicable laws.

  • For this position, we anticipate a starting salary within the range of $85,000- $90,000.
