Requirements
- Proficiency with word processing software
- Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
- Ability to compose correspondence
- Ability to proof assignments to ensure accuracy of documents
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills
- Detail attentiveness
- Self-motivated and willing to self-direct
- Ability to simultaneously handle multiple assignments and projects with speed and accuracy
- Able to work efficiently and effectively under time constraints
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a health care environment preferred
- High school level of knowledge preferred
