As part of the Children’s Wisconsin network, our clinic is supported by leading pediatric experts to ensure exceptional patient care. We’re seeking a full‑time Clinic Nurse (RN) who is passionate about supporting families and delivering outstanding nursing practice in a collaborative, patient‑focused environment. Work Schedule: Our clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. However, this position will follow a 4×10 schedule (7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.). This shift is designed to overlap clinic hours to support call center operations. The scheduled four days per week will vary based on clinic needs.

Requirements

• A license to practice nursing in the State of Wisconsin.
• Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing in order to meet the recommended entry level for a professional nurse.
• Exhibits guiding behaviors that reflect Children's values and support our mission and vision.
• Ability to work with a diverse patient population to promote a culturally competent environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills for positive and effective interaction with patients, families, visitors, providers, and the health care team.
• Good organization, delegation, and communication skills to facilitate efficient patient care.
• Strong demonstrated ability in assessment, analytical decision making, and critical thinking.
• Analytical skills are necessary to assess complex patient conditions effectively.
• Requires the ability to synthesize multiple sources of information to assist in patient care.
• Ability to assist and support other primary care locations as requested by leaders and/or the Children's Medical Group float policy.

Nice To Haves

• Two years’ experience in a primary care or urgent care setting preferred.
• Experience with pediatric patients preferred

Responsibilities

• Our RNs perform both triage and in‑clinic support for provider schedules—approximately 75% triage and 25% clinic support. These percentages may shift depending on staffing needs on any given day or week.
• The RN role practices within the Code of Ethics and Standards of Nursing Practice.
• Performs triage via phone and patient messaging in the electronic health record.
• Delegates patient care responsibilities appropriately, and maintains accountability for the quality of care.
• Provides for the health education needs of families with a focus on self-management and preventive health.
