As a Float Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple clinics within our network, providing comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent adaptability, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Valid and current RN OR LPN licensure in the state of Iowa
  • RN or LPN- Iowa Board of Nursing

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
  • Familiarity with EPIC a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care in various clinical settings, including primary care, specialty clinics, urgent care, and outpatient services.
  • Perform patient assessments, screenings, and health evaluations based on clinic protocols and provider orders.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations as prescribed.
  • Assist with minor procedures, wound care, and patient education.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, electronic health records (EHR), and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Foster a positive patient experience by delivering compassionate and culturally sensitive care.
