Clinic Nurse Practitioner Pain Management Per Diem Days
About The Position
Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer and the Clinic Director, The Clinic Nurse Practitioner is a Registered Nurse with specialized advanced education and clinical competency to provide health and medical care for diverse populations in a variety of primary care, acute and long term care settings. The Nurse Practitioner utilizes the scientific process and national standards of care as a framework for managing patient care. Utilizes the nursing process and organizational/ leadership skills to coordinate services to patients. Assures patient care is appropriate to the age and developmental level of patients served. Assesses patients and collaborates with the staffing coordinator, Nurse Director, Site Director and Administrative Nursing Supervisor to ensure patients needs are met by the Neurosurgery Clinic.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse licensure
- Masters Degree required, specialized clinical, educational and research preparation in the area of Neurology/Neurosurgery.
- 1-2 years experience preferred
- Accredited NNP program approved by Board of Registered Nursing for certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- maintains ACLS and BLS
