About The Position

The Clinic Nurse will provide patient care by conducting patient assessments, administering treatment and medications, performing diagnostic tests, and arranging patient follow-up. Records medical history and symptoms, completing documentation in the medical record. Coordinate patient care, acting as a liaison with other organizations. Provides patient education before and after appointments, for the use of medical devices and equipment, and prescriptions.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current, unencumbered State of Kansas LPN licensure, or temporary permit to practice issued by the Kansas State Board of Nursing required.
• CPR certification for Health Care Providers, is required or must be obtained within 90 days.
• Current vaccination record meeting ACIP Healthcare Workers Recommendations required.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of one year of primary care setting experience is preferred.
• FQHC experience preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
