Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse licensed in the state of practice.
  • Must be willing to become licensed in additional states and provide telehealth services.
  • BCLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred for FQHC.
  • Successful completion of background checks including criminal record, driving record, and fingerprint check.
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.

Nice To Haves

  • ACLS certification preferred for FQHC.

Responsibilities

  • Perform appropriate nursing assessments and evaluate client health conditions based on service requirements.
  • Complete initial medical histories and vital signs, coordinating action plans based on results.
  • Monitor health status and coordinate care with treatment teams as per client needs.
  • Create action plans addressing both physical and mental health treatment needs.
  • Administer and monitor medications according to state and service line standards while educating clients about their benefits.
  • Collaborate with physicians and consult with advanced practice providers for comprehensive client management.
  • Oversee infectious disease control and ensure client hygiene practices are maintained.
  • Arrange medical appointments and handle emergencies, ensuring client safety at all times.
  • Provide health education and disease prevention strategies to clients.
  • Complete timely documentation as required by company policies and procedures.
