About The Position

The Electrophysiology Laboratory provides service for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures and related testing. The department supports all functions related to electrophysiology procedures including but not limited to: patient care, information management, equipment operation and maintenance. The labs are staffed for operation during daytime hours and for extended hours as needed including 24-hour emergencies. Organizational Expectations Practices within the Medical Center's policies and procedures. Adheres to the Intensive Caring Value statements as demonstrated through positive patient/guest relations, positive and effective interactions with staff, and formulating and meeting developmental goals. Adheres to Hospital and Departmental Policy/Procedure.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing
  • current license
  • current BLS certification
  • minimum 1 year critical care or perioperative experience required
  • Maintains certification and licensing status
  • meets mandatory education and health surveillance requirements
  • Demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions
