PSG is a community-based social services and outpatient mental health organization that fulfills its mission of helping individuals and families achieve their greatest potential through dynamic and innovative programming responsive to the needs of diverse communities. We are looking for talented professionals like you to join our team. JOB SUMMARY: Our mental health therapists conduct assessments and provide therapeutic services to youth and families participating in agency programs as well as referrals from a variety of sources (i.e. physicians, courts, schools, social service agencies, etc.) in our outpatient mental health clinics. These services will be delivered in individual, family and group situations. We are looking to hire either a fully licensed therapist, or those currently working to obtain the hours necessary for full licensure. Pre-licensed therapists are welcome to apply, and we provide the supervision necessary for licensure and also provide our licensed therapists additional group supervision time for collaboration and support. Our part-time therapists are paid hourly for all hours worked.

Requirements

  • All applicants must possess a Master's Degree and licensure to provide therapy in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Must possess a Wisconsin LPC, LPC-IT, APSW, or LCSW or be eligible to obtain one.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Interview and evaluate children and families to complete the intake process.
  • Assess the therapeutic needs of clients and complete formal assessments.
  • Formulate, implement, evaluate, and review client treatment plans.
  • Provide psychotherapy in accordance with treatment plans.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skill in addressing family system, mental health, parenting, and alcohol/drug issues through individual, family, or group counseling.
  • Provide thorough and accurate updates on clients and make appropriate recommendations in regular and special staffings.
  • Coordinate services and maintain communication with all service providers involved with the clients.
