About The Position

The Clinic Medical Assistant in Pulmonology at Ozarks Health Care is responsible for performing both clinical and clerical tasks to support the healthcare team. This role involves assisting in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider. Key duties include interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and accurately recording information on patients' charts. The Medical Assistant will also prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and may administer injections and perform clinical tests such as EKGs. Additionally, the position requires performing routine clerical functions based on knowledge of medical practice procedures and policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Medical Assistant Program or Certified Nursing Assistant Program (Preferred)
