About The Position

The Clinic Medical Assistant Apprentice is a KVH employee that is enrolled in a certified Medical Assistant Apprenticeship program. The Apprenticeship program is intended to last one-year with the majority of the work and learning happening on-site, under the guidance of a preceptor. It is an expectation that the Medical Assistant Apprentice will complete the program and take the Department of Health Certified Medical Assistant test and become licensed by the State of Washington.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Will need PRIOR to the program starting; Resources are available from KVH
• Current CPR card for Healthcare Providers
• Or Current MA-R license from the Washington State Department of Health
• Or Current NAC license from the Washington State Department of Health
