The Clinic Med Office Receptionist performs receptionist duties and provides clerical support for the office. This role involves greeting patients and interfacing with hospital staff, clinical staff, patients, and visitors in a professional manner. The Samaritan Lincoln City Clinic provides primary health care for all family members from newborns to seniors through their pediatrics, family medicine, and internal medicine providers, focusing on compassion, dignity, and respect. The health care team may include doctors, nurse practitioners, physician associates, behavioral health specialists, medical assistants, and other clinic staff members working together to help patients maintain the best possible health. They encourage and offer preventive care including annual exams, health screenings, and counseling regarding health and lifestyle.

  • Perform receptionist duties and provide clerical support for the office.
  • Greet patients and interface with hospital staff, clinical staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA laws.
  • Organize, plan, and prioritize work to complete within required time frames.
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience and/or training with computer applications required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience and/or training in a position of similar responsibility and complexity preferred.
  • Experience and/or training with medical/insurance terminology preferred.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
  • Ability to work with a diverse population from pediatrics to geriatrics.
  • Personal sensitivity to the needs and experiences of others.
  • Salary Range: $16.84 - $24.73
  • Full-time position with a schedule of 80 hours per pay period.
