About The Position

Medcor is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as the Clinic Manager for an employer-based occupational health clinic located in Conyers, GA. This role is crucial for delivering Medcor’s Workplace Health Management services, primarily by providing onsite nursing services for injury and illness evaluation and treatment at the client worksite. The Clinic Manager will also act as a resource, point of contact, and liaison for the administration and continuous improvement of health and wellness programs for Medcor's customers. The scheduled hours for this position are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

  • Valid RN Nurse License (GA)
  • 1 to 2 years or more of experience
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in the Emergency Room or Urgent Care.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Knowledge of Worker's Compensation, Safety Event reporting and health and safety concepts and protocols.
  • At least 1 year of experience in an occupational health setting.
  • Flexibility and availability to cover 2 different sites if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe care services, emergency (first-aid) evaluation and treatment to onsite employees within scope of practice and according to standard operation procedures and protocols.
  • Exercise proper medical triage in evaluating severity, treatment, disposition, referral, and transportation.
  • Collaborate and work with cross-functional partners, including onsite client department managers, human resources, environmental health & safety, and security to ensure the integration and coordination of services are consistent with standardized operations, Medcor patient care guidelines and client policies and procedures.
  • Perform workplace employment screening per client policy and procedure such as conducting administering drug and alcohol screening for post offer, post-accident, and DOT requirements.
  • Maintain electronic medical record documentation.
  • Ensure records comply with State, Federal and OSHA, workers compensation and ADA regulations.
  • Participate in employee health/wellness and safety related programs and events such biometric screenings, blood glucose testing and other health management related initiatives.
