About The Position

Adena Health is looking for a highly motivated License Practical Nurse to join the Occupational Health team that supports LH Battery employees. Occupational Health includes a wide range of services designed to keep workers healthy and safe at work. We ensure that injured workers return to work safely. Our services include: Drug and alcohol screenings Pre-employment and compliance screenings Workers compensation injury care Various Immunizations and flu shots Pulmonary function testing/spirometry/respirator fit testing/audiograms/vision testing. Primary Care Position Summary for Licensed Practical Nurse: The Licensed Practical Nurse provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to assigned patients. This individual provides direct patient care and works collaboratively with other members of the care team to achieve optimal patient care. This incumbent has access to confidential patient information, provides direct patient care, has the authority to make independent decisions within scope of practice, and functions clinically under the direct supervision of the physician. This incumbent also reports to the clinic manager or designee for non-clinical functions.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited program in Practical Nursing.
LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio required
experience in a similar capacity 1-2 years preferred.
Medical Office experience
