About The Position

This position is based within Jefferson Regional Practice Management Clinics. A licensed practical nurse within a clinic setting is responsible for the application of professional nursing skills by observing/monitoring patient health, assisting in procedures, providing treatments, administering medications, and educating patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. This role involves direct patient care, working with all members of the healthcare team to ensure quality of care is provided to all patients.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing school program required.
• Current LPN Licensure with Arkansas State Board of Nursing required.
• Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing required.
• BLS required upon hire or obtain prior to patient care.
• Basic computer, phone, email, and business office equipment knowledge.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Able to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• 1-year experience working in the clinic setting preferred.

• Associate Degree in Practical Nursing preferred.
• Experience using an electronic health record preferred.
