Looking to hire an LPN or CMA for Advanced Orthopedics in Leland, NC. $2,000 sign-on bonus for LPN. Job Description: Performs nursing duties as they pertain to office nursing. Performs routine medical procedures and tests in conjunction with patient visits and assists the Provider as necessary. Performs clinical duties as they pertain to the Health Clinic. Performs routine medical procedures and tests in conjunction with patient visits and assists the Physician/Advanced Clinical Practitioner as necessary. Spends approximately 50% of the time acting as a scribe for the Physician.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of a one year accredited school of nursing (LPN).
• If a MA, must be certified as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) OR be a graduate of an approved program in medical assisting and meets all eligibility requirements for certification.
• If a recent graduate of an approved program of medical assistant, must obtain certification within two years of employment.
• Must hold a current and valid NC License as LPN or MA.
• Maintains current BLS certification.
• Required to demonstrate competency in the performance of duties specific to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
