About The Position

The Child Advocacy Center is seeking a Clinical Technician I to provide general and routine administrative and office support to the Clinical, Forensic, and Training units. The role includes a broad range of duties such as email correspondence, answering phone calls, transferring calls, making copies, monitoring incoming faxes, scanning client files into the database, processing and distributing office mail, and managing clinician schedules. The technician will also greet clients, ensure the safety of children in the waiting area, restock office supplies, and complete daily closing procedures. Additionally, the position involves managing financial processes through University systems, including submitting payments, reconciling credit card charges, and processing expense reports. The technician will perform other duties as assigned by the Business Administration Manager or Executive Director.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities can be acquired.
  • Eligibility for certification as required by regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general/routine administrative and office support to the Clinical, Forensic, and Training units.
  • Handle email correspondence and answer phone calls.
  • Transfer phone calls to appropriate contacts.
  • Make copies and monitor incoming faxes.
  • Scan client files into the database.
  • Process, sort, and distribute office mail.
  • Complete cab requests for clients when needed.
  • Review clinician calendars and ensure schedules are up to date.
  • Update clinician schedules in the main calendar daily.
  • Update Electronic Health Records calendars as needed.
  • Monitor room space and book rooms for students/staff.
  • Greet clients and guests arriving at the center.
  • Direct visitors and notify staff of appointment arrivals.
  • Watch children in the waiting area and ensure their safety.
  • Ensure the waiting area is cleaned at the end of each day.
  • Restock office supplies.
  • Complete closing procedures for the Agency daily.
  • Manage financial processes through University systems.
  • Submit One Card payments to vendors.
  • Reconcile Department and Student credit card charges.
  • Submit payments via payment request/non-catalogue.
  • Order office supplies and manage project-specific requests.
  • Input and manage Requisitions through procurement.
  • Process expense reports and input accounting information for staff.
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the Business Administration Manager or Executive Director.
