About The Position

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) is seeking a passionate and driven Clinic Financial Manager to lead our financial navigators, oversee multiple clinics, and ensure the financial health of our clinics. The role involves managing the Financial Counselors in the clinics, reviewing their performance of Managed Care duties and patient collections, supervising clinic collections, and providing training regarding FCS collection policies and procedures to clinic staff. The Clinic Financial Manager will also be responsible for approving all special order drugs and reviewing chemotherapy regimens to ensure that the reimbursement covers FCS cost of the drugs. This position supports the financial goals of the company by being fiscally responsible in all areas, including staffing and purchasing.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree or higher education preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in the medical field business office with prior experience in the collection of self-pay and insurance accounts, preferably at management level.
• Strong verbal communication skills in dealing with patients' financial matters.
• Experience in accounts receivable management required.
• Ability to manage employees across multiple locations is crucial.
