QUALIFICATIONS Experienced CMA, LPN, or RN, with preferred 2-5 years in the healthcare industry. Previous experience training and leading employees. Previous work experience in the medical office/medical clinic setting. Must be a self-starter who is flexible and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Leadership skills in critical thinking, conflict management, personnel development, effective communication, and interpersonal skills. Computer aptitude. Lic/Reg/Cert: Current CMA. LPN or RN licensure TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS Must be in good general health. Be able to frequently stoop, bend, and reach. Must be able to withstand constant walking, standing, lifting at least 50 pounds or more, push/pull clinical equipment, occasionally sitting. Must be able to function under periods of stress, trauma, and or disease. Must be able to work independently and effectively with teams. Ability to make decisions in stressful situations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Monitor and organize the daily activities of the Sky Lakes Behavioral Health Care Clinic. Work closely with the Medical Director of SLBHC and the Sky Lakes Specialty Care Services management team. Administrative duties, including organizing meetings, coordinating schedules of externs, residents, medical students, student nurse practitioners, and Sky Lakes APP’s. Work with clinic leadership in ongoing efforts to increase encounters and optimize documentation to maximize clinic productivity. Assist staff and providers with clinical/patient care duties. Monitor and order supplies. Partner with key stakeholders in recruitment and retention of clinic staff. Maintain high-level understating of the EMR function to appropriately support/adjust workflows with Sky Lakes Specialty Care Services management. Obtain understanding of all positions and responsibilities and assist with onboarding new hires and participate in their training while providing mentorship. Participate in clinical process improvements and optimization of clinic workflows to increase throughput. Communicate openly with Sky Lakes Specialty Care Services Management and ensure adequate two-way communication processes to drive positive workplace culture that meets the Sky Lakes vision and values. Work collaboratively and proactively to continuously improve the employee experience. Stay abreast of federal and state regulations. Assist Sky Lakes Specialty Care Services management and key stakeholders with development of systems, processes, and education to help ensure our compliance through the effective corporate compliance program(s). Partner with Sky Lakes Specialty Care Services and key stakeholders (e.g., IS, Risk, Quality) to ensure compliance. Work collaboratively to improve the patient experience. Show competence in relation to the organization's defined mission, vision, values, and strategic plan. This will be apparent by ongoing completion of any, or all, of the following: proficiency testing, skill demonstration, practice of core standards for service excellence, and documentation review.
