About The Position

The Clinic Clerk is an entry level position which will receive on-the-job training to perform tasks within one or more front office positions including, patient registration clerk, eligibility screener and medical records clerk.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in front office duties.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player.
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a changing environment.
  • Sensitivity to different cultures.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the electronic health record database within three months of training.
  • Fluency in English (speaks, reads, and writes).
  • Fluency in Spanish (speaks, translates, reads, and writes).
  • Current California driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks within one or more front office positions including patient registration clerk, eligibility screener, and medical records clerk.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with patients and others.
  • Work effectively as a team player.
