About The Position

The Pharmaceutical Resource Clinic Assistant is responsible for assisting the Pharmaceutical Resource Clinic Providers and Diabetes Educators, a Registered Nurse, Dietician or Pharmacist, with clinic duties to include, but not limited to, greeting the patient, entering data in the electronic medical record, field phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, patient registrations, billing, collecting co-pay/co-insurance, medication/device coverage assistance (prior authorization), Home INR service, finger stick blood test and ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

• Vocational coursework completion or 2 year college level education; and/or additional years of experience in lieu of education
• Minimum one (1) year of clerical and/or receptionist experience in a medical setting
• Health care experience such as Health Care Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Level A Pharmacy Assistant desirable
