We have been treating adult and pediatric patients for nearly 54 years who suffer with allergies, asthma and immunology-related illnesses. Position Purpose: This non-exempt, full-time position is responsible for direct and indirect care of adult and pediatric patients under the direction of the physicians, Clinic Manager and Office Administrative Manager. We are looking for a positive, experienced, responsible individual to contribute depth & knowledge to our busy practice.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant School or
  • Licensed Medical Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant, hold a Biology Degree, or
  • Combination of experience and education
  • Current CPR Certification
  • HepB vaccination

Responsibilities

  • Shows competency as a Medical Office Assistant
  • Shows competency in Clinic Assistant I and II Skill Modules within 120 days of employment; Clinic Assistant III Skill Modules within first year of employment
  • Shows competency in basic computer skills
  • Assures patient satisfaction by working as a team member with all personnel
  • Front Desk & Cross-Training duties, to include:
  • Answering front desk phones
  • Check in/check out of patients
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Processing billing and insurance information
  • Showing compliance with insurance regulations
  • Demonstrates flexibility, professionalism and a high-level of motivation
  • Maintains open communication and a team-oriented work environment with all departments and all levels of personnel
  • Takes initiative and is a self-starter
  • Performs additional duties as deemed necessary
  • OSHA and HIPAA Compliant
  • Responsibilities are subject to change at any time based on company needs.
